Vrat Wale Fried Aloo

Vrat wale Fried Aloo tastes good to eat after frying potatoes for any fast. If there are small potatoes, then potatoes can be fried whole, if the potatoes are big then they can be fried by cutting them into 4 or 6 pieces. The recipe comes in handy when you don’t have any other veggie other than potatoes in your pantry and want to cook a quick yet tasty dish.

Ingredients
 
 

  • 6 potatoes medium sized
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp. Coriander leaves to garnish
  • Refined Oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Wash and boil medium sized potatoes, cool them, peel them.
  • Put oil in a pan and heat it,
  • Put potatoes in hot oil and fry till it becomes light brown and take it out in a plate.
  • Keeping one tablespoon of oil, remove the extra oil.
  • Put cumin seeds in oil, let the cumin seeds crackle,
  • Add potatoes, salt, black pepper and fry the potatoes for 2-3 minutes, then turn off the gas,
  • Add green coriander and lemon juice and mix well. Adjust salt, pepper and lemon juice according to taste.
  • Serve hot with kuttu ke atte ki roti.
