Ingredients
  

  • 2 liter milk Full cream
  • 2 tbsp. vinegar white
  • 2 tbsp. water
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 6-7 pieces pistachios or any other dry fruit to garnish

Instructions
 

  • Take 1 1/2 Milk & boil it for making Chhena / paneer.
  • When it starts boiling, turn off the flame then put some Vinegar & Water Mixture gradually to curdle the Milk.
  • Keep a strainer on a bowl amd strain Chhena in it.
  • put cold water on it to remove the smell or taste of vinegar, when it gets dry then mash it with hands or with a masher.
  • Take 1/2 lt Milk & boil it till it becomes nearly half of its initial quantity.
  • This step is alternative to use condesed milk.
  • Put Sugar in the boiling Milk till it thickens stirring continuously.
  • Now add the Chhena to milk. Mix it well.
  • Cook it on high flame for 5 mins.
  • Then put the mixture in a tray, garnish it with chopped Pistachios & let it to set for 6-7 hours.
  • Then cut it in pieces & enjoy the Delicious Kalakand at home.
