Gobi Chili
chili gobi is very simple, with very less ingredients and similar to gobi Manchurian recipe. It is one of the most popular indian street food or fast food to be offered from the indo-chinese cuisine palette.

1 cup cauliflower boiled 1/2 cup all purpose flour / refined flour 1/4 cup corn flour 1/4 red capsicum cubed 1/4 green capsicum cubed 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste 1/2 teaspoon chili powder / lal mirch powder 1 clove garlic finely chopped 2 spring onion finely chopped 1 inch ginger finely chopped 1 green chili slit 2 tablespoon tomato sauce 1/2 onion petals 1 tablespoon chili sauce 1 tablespoon soy sauce ¼ tsp sugar 1 teaspoon corn flour 2 tablespoon water salt to taste Oil for deep frying water as required
Prepare smooth flowing consistency batter.
Add in boiled Gobi florets.
Dip the florets into batter and deep fry or shallow fry in hot oil.
Stir occasionally and fry on medium flame.
Drain off over kitchen towel and keep aside.
Now in a kadai heat oil.
Saute in garlic, ginger, chili and spring onion.
Add in capsicum and onion. sauté till they shrink slightly.
Add in tomato sauce, chili sauce, soy sauce, salt to taste and sugar. mix well.
Add corn flour paste and give a quick stir.
Stir till the corn flour paste turn translucent.
Add fried Gobi and spring onions green. stir gently.
Serve chili Gobi hot as a starter or as a dish for roti, noodles or fried rice.
