Palak paneer is a very popular and one of our favorite paneer gravy recipe. So thought, why not give a spinach twist to the regular paneer bhurji recipe and add some spinach leaves. This Palak paneer ki bhurji is inspired by palak paneer. This is a paneer quick recipe and quick palak recipe. This is very simple dish but still very tasty.

There are no fancy ingredients used in the recipe so even beginners can make it very easily. All you need to do is first crackle the spices and then fry the onions until transparent. Next just fry the ginger garlic paste and the saute the tomatoes until mushy. The last step is to spice up the onion tomato masala and add the crumbled paneer and herbs. Under 15 minutes your delicious dish is ready.

Bhurji goes very well with puri and paratha. You can do so many things with this, can make palak paneer Kathi roll, palak paneer sandwich.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Bunch spinach / palak
  • 100 gms paneer crushed
  • 2 medium Onions chopped
  • 2-3 piece Tomatoes chopped
  • 4 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp desi ghee
  • 2 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 3 butter large cubes
  • 2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 2-3 Green chillies
  • Coriander leaves chopped
  • Ginger sliced
  • 2 tablespoon Oil

Instructions
 

  • Chop the spinach. Rinse thoroughly.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add some garlic paste, spinach and salt and cook for some time.
  • Take another pan and heat desi ghee in a pan, add garlic paste, ginger paste and saute.
  • Once the garlic turns brown, add tomatoes, cumin powder and coriander powder. Cook for some more time.
  • Take butter in pan, add chopped onions and saute. Now add spinach, tomato paste, salt, red chili powder, paneer, green chilies and coriander leaves.
  • Cook the palak bhurji for some time.
  • Garnish with thinly sliced ginger and serve hot.
