Mawa Burfi

Mawa Burfi

Mawa Burfi, a classic Indian sweet which is mainly made for any festive occasion. It’s delicious, perfect to make at the last minutes with just a couple of ingredients. Burfi recipes is very easy, you just need three or four ingredients to make burfi. It can be made with kaju, maida, coconut or mawa or khoya.

This is plain burfi for garnishing you can use kesar or pista, badam or coco chips. You can use khoya form the market or you can make it at home. I have used khoya from the market.

Some Tips :
Keep the flame in low for entire cooking. Otherwise the khoya will be burnt easily. For quick settings, keep the burfi in refrigerator for some time. Do not overcook the mawa otherwise it will become chewy.
