Maa Siddhidatri – Ninth Navratri: On the ninth and final day of Navratri, devotees worship Maa Siddhidatri, the ninth form of Goddess Durga. Maa Siddhidatri is the provider of eight types of siddhis, also known as Ashta Siddhis. These are:

नवरात्रि के नौवें और अंतिम दिन, माँ सिद्धिदात्री की पूजा की जाती है। यह दिन बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण और शुभ माना जाता है। माँ सिद्धिदात्री को सिद्धियों की देवी कहा जाता है। इनकी उपासना से सभी प्रकार की सिद्धियाँ प्राप्त होती हैं। माँ का नाम “सिद्धिदात्री” दो शब्दों से मिलकर बना है— “सिद्धि” जिसका अर्थ है अद्भुत शक्तियाँ और “दात्री” जिसका अर्थ है देने वाली। अर्थात, माँ सिद्धिदात्री अपने भक्तों को सिद्धियों का आशीर्वाद देती हैं।
माँ सिद्धिदात्री का स्वरूप
माँ सिद्धिदात्री का स्वरूप बहुत ही शांत और दिव्य है। वे कमल के फूल पर विराजमान होती हैं और उनके चार हाथ होते हैं। चारों हाथों में वे क्रमशः गदा, चक्र, शंख और कमल का पुष्प धारण करती हैं। माँ सिद्धिदात्री का वाहन सिंह है, हालांकि कभी-कभी इन्हें कमल पर भी विराजमान दिखाया जाता है। उनका यह स्वरूप अत्यंत सौम्य और मनमोहक है।
सिद्धियों का आशीर्वाद
पुराणों के अनुसार, माँ सिद्धिदात्री की कृपा से भक्तों को आठ सिद्धियाँ प्राप्त होती हैं। ये आठ सिद्धियाँ हैं:
- अणिमा: शरीर को सूक्ष्मतम आकार में बदलने की शक्ति।
- महिमा: शरीर को विशालतम आकार में बदलने की शक्ति।
- लघिमा: शरीर को हल्का करने की शक्ति।
- गर्भिता: कहीं भी तुरंत पहुँचने की शक्ति।
- प्राकाम्य: इच्छानुसार कार्य करने की शक्ति।
- ईशित्व: संसार पर नियंत्रण रखने की शक्ति।
- वशित्व: किसी को वश में करने की शक्ति।
- कामावसायिता: किसी भी कार्य में सिद्धि प्राप्त करने की शक्ति।
इन सिद्धियों को प्राप्त करने के लिए माँ सिद्धिदात्री की भक्ति और साधना की जाती है।
माँ सिद्धिदात्री की पूजा विधि
- स्नान और ध्यान: नौंवे दिन प्रातःकाल स्नान कर माँ सिद्धिदात्री का ध्यान किया जाता है। स्वच्छ वस्त्र धारण कर पूजा स्थल को स्वच्छ किया जाता है।
- मूर्ति या चित्र की स्थापना: माँ सिद्धिदात्री की मूर्ति या चित्र को पूजा स्थल पर स्थापित करें।
- पूजन सामग्री: माता की पूजा में धूप, दीप, लाल पुष्प, चंदन, अक्षत (चावल), नारियल, मिठाई, और फल आदि शामिल होते हैं।
- मंत्र जाप: “ॐ सिद्धिदात्यै नमः” मंत्र का जाप करना चाहिए।
- हवन: नवरात्रि के अंतिम दिन हवन करने का भी विशेष महत्व है। इसमें माँ सिद्धिदात्री का आह्वान कर विशेष मंत्रों के साथ आहुतियाँ दी जाती हैं।
माँ सिद्धिदात्री की कथा
पौराणिक मान्यता के अनुसार, भगवान शिव ने माँ सिद्धिदात्री की कृपा से ही सभी प्रकार की सिद्धियों को प्राप्त किया था। माँ सिद्धिदात्री ने ही भगवान शिव को अर्द्धनारीश्वर रूप प्रदान किया था, जिसमें आधा शरीर शिव का और आधा माँ पार्वती का है।
